Job Title: Product Engineer
The Product Engineer plays a key role in product development by assisting in idea generation, testing, manufacturing, and launching new products. The position works closely with team members to maximize efficiencies, drive product innovation, and create value.
Desired Skills & Experience
Engineering Degree – Mechanical preferred
Prior experience in manufacturing or product development
Experience with 3D printing and prototyping
Understanding Solid Works drawing software (must have) and Odoo ERP (like to have)
Roles and Responsibilities
Lead research and development projects for new products and product improvements within the organization
Work in conjunction with multiple departments including engineering, production, sales, and marketing to bring products to market
Communicate product requirements, specifications and client needs to the Production team and acts as an advisor to the team throughout the entire product development process
Conducts necessary technical configuration, testing, verification and validation activities
Assists with product launch messages, including web site content, sales training, and marketing/support materials with downstream marketing
Establish and work within budget
Research and bring recommendations to leadership
Work within project timelines
